Roxanne Dawn’s love for music started when she was just a baby. From a young age, Roxanne took voice lessons, as well as lessons in dance, piano, violin and theater. At the age of 18, she was signed to a major label, SOS/ Polygram. Under the name Katrina, Roxanne travelled the world promoting and performing her hit single.

Roxanne Dawn is not only known for her music, but she also known as a model. Roxanne has appeared in over 30 magazines, and even more features online. She has shot for Playboy more times than Pamela Anderson! It was her numerous photo shoots for Playboy that led Roxanne Dawn to become a dj!

When asked about her taste in music Roxanne Dawn gushes, “I have very eclectic taste. I live and breathe music and love getting inspired by different types. But, my job as a DJ is to get people to dance and sing along.” Her open format sets can range from Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Top 40, House, Electro & Rock.

Formerly known as Nate Ryan Band and then for a time as Nate Ryan and Borrowed Gear, the fellas with Shadow Canyon all pretty much started their musical careers in much the same humble beginnings as most musicians in and around small towns on the Western United States of rural America. Nestled along the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains at the gateway to the Giant Sequoia Redwoods lies a landmark pit-stop halfway between Bakersfield and Fresno, California, where the Tule River winds down the switchbacks and quenches the thirst of the southern San Joaquin Valley floor and provides the arid location the resources needed to grow the produce that comes from the area to feed much of the population of the entire world.

Tulare County is where these guys hale from, Porterville, Ca. to be exact, and as the area is steeped in agriculture and hard labor, so have these men grown like the crops that become prepared for our dinner tables. Sons of Californians and heirs to the legacy that is the dust bowl movement settlers of the early twentieth century. They are exalted from rich traditions and poetic justice from the likes of hard work, ingenuity, persevering, and at the end of the day, how to have a good time and reward oneself. Over a decade ago within a local music scene, amongst the smoke filled barrooms and neon- lit honky-tonks, a group of friends came together from out of well-established bands and formed the group Shadow Canyon. Named after a popular style of "Wrangler jeans" that many of the women wore out to the venues these guys performed at, the name quickly had taken their area by storm. They are currently working on their up-coming release of a new EP and have some original music preluding such. All of the ingredients for a great Country Rock music act are inside this “Shadow Canyon Stew” and boy, they are tasty!
