Over the many years I’ve been in the casino business, one thing I’ve found to be true is that you’d better like change. Perhaps more than any other industry, the best casinos are constantly changing. Here at Gold Country Casino Resort, we not only accept change…we embrace it.

Our gaming floor is constantly being modified, striving to create more ways for our guests to win. We introduced progressives like Keno Kash on all our Keno and Video Poker games, Triple Pour on all bar tops, and our latest linked progressive jackpot on penny games, Bonus Bonanza. We are the first casino in Northern California to have a linked progressive in our Table Games Pit. And we will continue to innovate with a new, High Limit Slot progressive jackpot coming soon linking all high limit games to one large, volatile jackpot.

We continue to raise the bar at our hotel. When other hotel companies are cutting back on service, we offer additional amenities such as automatic stay over service and nightly turndown service. Our standard rooms are huge with many offering jacuzzi style tubs.

 When it comes to food, GCCR won’t be beat. Open 24/7, Coffee Tyme offers a large assortment of coffee drinks with donuts, bagels, sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Acorn Café is known for great comfort food with a robust breakfast menu featuring items such as sweet cream pancakes with bourbon syrup, croque madame and stuffed meatloaf. With it’s beer wall featuring 23 changing micro brews to the largest LED TV in Butte County, Game Tyme is the perfect place to gather with family and friends and cheer on your favorite team. Have a sweet tooth? RUSSSH! Is our dessert bar that specializes in shakes, floats, ices, cakes, cupcakes and house-made ice cream. All with the option of being infused with alcohol. And coming this fall we’re reopening our award-winning Steakhouse, Safire. Featuring the finest cuts of meat, fresh seafood, and a discriminating wine list. All meals are served with traditional French Table Service.

I could go on and on.
